Description: McClure Pass, on the Pitkin/Gunnison county line, is a place to look for nesting Purple Martins, although they can be hard to find here sometimes. Other aspen specialties are here also, as well as mixed-conifer birds downslope on the Pitkin side.

Habitat: Aspen Grove, Mixed-Conifer Forest
Directions: McClure Pass is on CO 133 about 24 miles southwest of Carbondale, at the Pitkin/Gunnison county line.
